THE CAR-PARK

Art. 1
Unattended regional car park of the Buisson-Chamois regional cable car

ableway is governed by the provisions of this regulation, as well as in general by the provisions of the Civil Code and the Penal Code.

The car park is managed by Chamois Servizi srl based on the Cooperation Agreement signed on 19/04/2022 between the Autonomous Region of Valle d’Aosta and the Municipality of Chamois.

Art. 2.
By collecting the entrance ticket, the customer is subject to the provisions of the Car Park Regulations, in particular, an atypical fixed-term contract is stipulated, having as its object the provision of a parking space, available at the time, without any obligation or responsibility for the custody of the same by the company that manages the structure, in exchange for a fee that allows parking in the free spaces, with the exclusion of any spaces or areas of the car park, specifically marked.

Art. 3.
The Customer is required to respect the signs inside the car park, the instructions, including verbal ones, of the staff, the spaces designated for disabled people, for motorbikes and motorcycles and for cars parked for electric charging.

Inside the car park, traffic must be strictly at a “walking pace”, the user must strictly respect the rules of the Highway Code that regulate the circulation of vehicles and adopt all appropriate measures and precautions for the safety of their own and third parties’ property.

Art.4.
All Customers are strictly prohibited from adopting behaviors that are not compatible with the provisions of this regulation, citing by way of example, but not limited to:

• parking outside the designated spaces delimited by stripes, on traffic lanes, on entry/exit lanes and in any case in all cases in which it may hinder the maneuvering and/or movement of other vehicles;

• leaving flammable or explosive materials and/or substances in parked vehicles;

• refuel, carry out repairs, change oil, clean or wash the vehicle.

• Unload and/or deposit water, oil, objects or anything else that could dirty the parking areas on the pavement.

• Obstruct in any way the operation of the services, the use of the structures and equipment installed in the parking areas.

Art. 5.
Vehicles with a width greater than 2.60 m and articulated vehicles cannot park in the parking area.

They may only access to transit towards the goods cableway for loading and unloading goods and materials.

Art. 6.
Campers and caravans cannot park in the parking area as it does not have facilities for waste water discharge and water refilling.

Art. 7.
Failure to comply with the aforementioned provisions, given as an example in articles 4, 5 and 6, will contribute to attributing to the defaulting Customer the exclusive personal responsibility in relation to any damage caused to his or other vehicles, people or things.

Art. 8.
To enter the car park, press the appropriate button on the entrance column and collect the ticket.

In case of second thoughts, the Customer can decide to exit immediately without stopping by reusing the same ticket at the exit column, taking advantage of the first two hours of free parking.

Those who have a valid parking pass (proximity card or paper pass) can enter and exit several times a day by placing the card close to the appropriate proximity readers located on the entrance and exit columns, during the entire period of validity of the pass.

The basic principle of parking passes is that 2 consecutive entries or 2 exits cannot be made.

The exit must always follow an entry.

The customer, already in possession of a proximity card for the car park, can top up the pass at the automatic cash machine or at the manual cash machine at the cable car ticket office.

Each proximity card can be linked to two license plates, which will be read and recognized both when entering and exiting.

The issue of a parking pass is subject to the purchase of a support (proximity card) which costs €10.00.

The pass does not guarantee the availability of a parking space.

For all other users, leaving the parking lot requires payment of the amount due at the automatic cashier located in the cable car cashier area, before collecting the vehicle.

The parking fees applied are detailed below:

Free for the first two hours
one day € 3.00 after the first two free hours until midnight of the same day
one week € 8.00 (7 days from the time of entry until midnight on the 7th day)
one month € 20.00 (30 days from the time of entry until midnight on the 30th day)
3 months € 40.00 (90 days from the time of entry until midnight on the 90th day)
6 months € 60.00 (180 days from the time of entry until midnight on the 180th day)
One year € 80.00 (365 days from the time of entry until midnight on the 365th day)

Residents/workers
One week € 4.00 (7 days from the time of entry until midnight on the 7th day) 
One month € 10.00 (30 days from the time of entry until midnight on the 30th day)
One year € 30.00 (365 days from the time of entry until midnight on the 365th day).

Art. 9.
Any loss of the ticket and/or deterioration of the same, making it illegible, must be communicated to the operators, via the intercom service active at the automatic cashier or at the entrance and exit gates of the car park.

In this event, the Customer will be provided with a new ticket, upon payment of an amount equal to €50.00.

It is absolutely forbidden to crease, fold or leave the card or the entrance ticket inside the vehicle and near magnetic and heat sources. To this end, it is advisable to photograph the ticket to have a digital support of the same.

Art. 10.
The parking amount due (fee) is that resulting from the current tariffs established by the Region with DGR 1440/2024 and displayed at the entrance to the car park and are understood to be known and accepted by the Customer.
The tariff signs constitute an integral and substantial part of these regulations.

Art. 11.
Parking for vehicles equipped with a special disabled pass, in the designated spaces located next to the cable car entrance and inside the car park, is free of charge upon verification and validation of the parking pass at the manual cashier located at the ticket office of the Buisson-Chamois cable car.

Art. 12.
In the event of the car park being closed for extraordinary works, of which prior notice is given by means of notices, the company Chamois Servizi srl declines all responsibility for cars left in the car park and reserves the right to forcibly remove them.

Art. 13.
Exclusion of liability
For the purpose of this contract, which consists exclusively in the availability of a parking space for a fee and in its occupation and not also in the storage and custody of the vehicle, Chamois Servizi is not responsible for any damage suffered by vehicles, such as theft, theft of objects or luggage left inside the vehicle, break-ins, damage to the same or blocking of vehicles caused by incorrect parking by other customers. For damage due to impacts, collisions, accidents, collisions caused by users inside the parking lot, the right to compensation for the damage must be exercised by the injured party directly against the Customer who caused it, excluding any liability on the part of the parking management body.

The Customer is responsible for damage caused by him to the systems, to the parking staff and/or to third parties, for all indirect damages and for all consequential damages.

The entrance ticket/season ticket is the only valid document for access and exit of the vehicle, by anyone in possession of it, with the consequent exemption from liability for Chamois Servizi.

Art. 14.
In addition to the previous point, it is specified that the legal regime for which the management of this parking lot is carried out is not that of storage with custody, but rather that of the simple use of the space delimited by the lines for parking vehicles.

Art. 15.
The parking Customer accepts these general conditions and all the clauses contained therein.

Art. 16.
Any personal data provided to Chamois Servizi will be subject exclusively following and for the purposes related to the availability of the parking space and the protection of company assets (video surveillance).

The customer acknowledges, for the purposes of the current legislation on the protection of privacy, that the parking area is under video surveillance and accepts all the consequences.

The images will be provided only upon request of the police and the judicial authorities.

Art. 17.
The court of Aosta shall have jurisdiction over any dispute.
